Last weekend we took a "stroll" down to Otter Creek. Are plans were to meet up with my bro-in-law's family, pitch in to rent a pontoon boat, and fish away the day. But the weather turned out not to be the best. We headed down anyways for the adventure, and I'm glad we did. Even though it was really windy, we had a great time, and our kids had an even better time. They spent the whole time exploring around the camp ground, and spinning on the playground thing that was next to camp ground. They made friends with some of the boys there, and had fun on a four wheeler ride. Thanks a ton Chris for inviting us. Maybe next time we can actually fish.
On our four wheeler ride Eli fell asleep half way through.
Spinning playground thing"don't know what its called". We took a drive down the side of the lake on a dirt road and Manny let Kaden sit on his lap and steer. He loved it!
We stopped here on our way to Otter Creek. I couldn't believe how yellow the mountain is.

When A big rain storm passed through, we went outside to watch(in the garage). I wasn't going to post them, but I thought they turned out pretty good.
The little white spots are HAIL.

These 2 talked me into buying these snorkels for 5 bucks each. And I'm just thinking what a waist. The water will come in the goggles, and they wont use them. So they get home, and even though the storm clouds are rollin in, they want to put them on and test them out. So every day since then, first thing they ask me when we wake up is "Can we go snorkeling"?
YUBA!!!!!
About 2 weeks ago we went down to Yuba with Manny's sister Elsa, and her little girl Dorani. We stayed 2 days, and 2 nights. The kids had so much fun getting dirty, riding bikes, and throwing rocks in the lake. In the picture below, with Eli holding his thumb up, he has an INCH WORM crawling up it. Kaden was such a chicken and wouldn't hold it until I did.
We had the best deserts. The 1st night we did smores, and the next Peach Cobbler. I know, retarded to take the picture, but they just looked so yummy. The kids only wanted to light the marshmallows on fire. I guess that's the funnest part.
So I took a million pictures of the fire. I thought it was pretty cool. Even the pictures look hot.
Dorani was so cute. She was just like one of the boys. Running around throwing rocks. She loved to run down the dock, with her mom right after her. Trevin just liked riding in the stroller.
