Spanish Fork Carnival

So Monday night me and my sister Chris took the kids to the opening night of the carnival. Thinking it was smart because we were saving money. Well it turned out to be crazy busy and we stood in line for ever on each ride. Well she stood with the kids and I sat on a bench (thanks Chris). The kids really had fun. And it's amazing to see how protective Kaden is of Eli. So were leaving at the back of the park, walking back to are cars, when we pass a bunch of teenagers who are smoking. Clearly under age and I couldn't help but think, that used to be me. Well we get past them, and out of hearing range. I turned to Kaden and said, when you get older and your friends offer you a cigarette you tell them no. Because it's stinky and gross you. You can't breath and it's addictive so if you wanted to quit, you can't. When you grow old you'll have yucky teeth and you won't be able to do anything because you can't breath. Then you will get sick and die. So make sure you tell you friends NO! He says okay mom, but what if I forget? That's my Kaden for ya. I laughed and said you better not forget. But then my night gets better. It's 9:30 and we haven't had dinner yet. Kaden wants chicken strips and cheese fries from Berry's. So I go to the drive up, order the food and I'm waiting in line. I'm 2 cars from the front and I realize, I don't have my debit card, I left it at home. So I'm freaking out thinking crap how am I going to pay for this. I guess I can tell them, go home get my card and come back feeling really stupid. But then I remember Meg had repaid me in a bunch of quarters and change in my ash tray(thanks Meg). So I get to the window and tell them that I forgot my debit card, but I might have enough in change. My total is like $9.70 something. I had a couple of dollars, and I'm counting quarters, down to the pennies. The girl noticed my Mexican change, and I asked her if I could pay with that. Well the girl was really nice, and I was like 90 cents short but she gave it to me anyways. But that is my worst fear, not having money to pay, and locking my keys in my car. Over all it was a good night. These days I'm just glad to get off the couch, and out of the house.
